Abstract Daily (2021, collage on paper, 30×30 cm each)
In the series called Abstract Daily, images of everyday objects are divided into pieces to form a new unity and combined with the collage technique to create abstract compositions. Ordinary objects that we encounter around us in daily life are transformed into visual materials of abstract art by considering their characteristics such as color, texture, form, and movement. Compositions, in other words; these new relationships between abstract forms and objects aim to suggest the possibilities of creative transformation of the ordinary. Based on the idea that what is creative and liberating lies in what we are familiar with, the work proposes to look at the world of objects that we encounter around us and seem ordinary to us with a new eye.
